Re: World's longest sea crossing

No.
That war was started when Iraq invaded one of our ALLIES. Iraqi forces then OCCUPIED that country.
Didn't matter whether Blair was in power or not. The UK had a obligation to respond. So did the US, and so did dozens of other countries.

Re: Death free meat
I want to know what it tastes like. End of the day, if it tastes just like real meat, and the texture is more or less the same, then I'm open to the idea.....it would certainly be more uniform, and might even be better. And if it saves a cow or two then that's fine too, I just wouldn't eat it BECAUS...

Re: Any Queen (the band) fans here?
I wouldn't call Queen hard rock. Neither would I.....but that song alone is definitely hard rock & pretty much embodies what most hard rock bands are trying to achieve - or any mainstream artists are trying to achieve for that matter. You hear that song just one time & you'll never forget i...

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that if a helicopter's engine suddenly gives out, the transmission disengages from the rotor to give the pilot some steerability as it's going down.
Down, down, down.
Down to the ground.

I think "We Will Rock You" set the bar for every hard rock band that followed. Awesome drum beat (that no-one can now ever use again!!).
And Brian May's guitar feedback puts him on an entirely different level before he's even played a note.

Doesn't surprise me one bit if they're safer than cars.
End of the day you've got a professional flying the thing....as opposed to anybody-under-the-sun driving a car.
Those small private plane accidents are no different.....it's always some jobsworth that thinks he's Biggles.
