People need to wake up and realise that austerity has nothing to do lowering the deficit it's all about shrinking the state. They started demonising the unemployed the moment they got in, remembe...

Re: British Home Stores

No doubt as StMarks suggests there will be some sort of Government/tax payer protection for the pension, and I'd bet my left arm it won't cover the whole amount.

So both the tax payers and the employees get to fund his new boat.

Otherwise who cares...if BHS was making any money then I doubt it'd be getting passed around like a hot coal...."Oooh, this thing is a good money maker, let's sell it for $1!!" Unlikely. Think you're missing the point of the OP * Green flogs BHS to Dominic Chappell (who owns 90% of Retail...

Re: In, out or shake it all about?

The only fact I've heard in this debate that I honestly believe is the EU will totally stiff us if we leave. They have to and don't really have a choice, otherwise the whole EU project will crumble in 5 years. It's marriage of compromise for pretty much everyone in it, be that political or economica...

Re: In, out or shake it all about?

I've yet or hear a coherent argument from either side, which for me just leaves voting ideologically. What would Carl Sagan do? I actually think it's a great shame we are voting on this. It's basically just to counter balance the threat UKIP posed to the Tories vote in the last election, and appease...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Backed the rebound and compression off a turn on the front today and oddly the rear feels so much better. Definitely getting quicker and getting a lot more feed back from the bike, especially in the slower corners. I arrived at the bottom of Itchy's Leap at about 120, at least 30mph quicker than la...
