... part of it. But as I've got older I've become far more interested. The area my house is in has some very interesting history behind it and shortly after I bought the house I read quite a bit about it. So when it comes to Europe and the UK which have centuries upon centuries of civilised history ...

Re: The new improved fitness thread

Did the 2 x 25kg plates last night, absolutely fine.. going to do 3 x 20 plate next week which will be bloody difficult. After that I managed 34kg dumbells with ease - I've never tried more than 30 before so might start trying to go heavier on those too Night off the gym tonight, I'm ...

Re: The new improved fitness thread

Squats.. I started at 70kg until failure then keep adding weight. So I did 70, 110, 130, 135, 140, 145 - all until failure. I managed 5 at 140kg.

I did lots more after that and walking down 2 flights of stairs was not fun afterwards - I should have taken the lift.

My mate's band is playing at the Vic in town tonight so I might go along to that.

Saturday will be a Costco run and a bit of a shamble around.

Sunday I'll be wrestling with my final MSc post module assignment (just the small matter of the dissertation after that fecker's done!).
