Re: Crutchlow back to Ducati

I like Cal but agree he is not performing well in the shop window which could cost him his ride next year.

Re: Brno Motogp

We will have to see what Michelin come in with next year but I would suggest there may even be a reduction in lean angle until Michelin catch up with Bridgestone who are well known for excessive levels of grip and high edge grip.

Crutchlow back to Ducati

Sounds like he may be heading to Pramsc next year. I think he made a big mistake leaving the factory team this year.

Fireballs over Buxton from an air bed on the garage roof.

Was very tempted to sleep there but fortunately my 8 year old had better sense.

Re: 520 Chain Conversion

The only difference I noticed was the sprocket wore out much much quicker, but at 600 miles a year that's never going to be a problem.

Personally I will never put an alloy sprocket on a road bike again but only because of the mileage.

Re: 520 Chain Conversion

... road 530 chain so it won't wear any quicker. Plus it will still be even better than the oem chain specification and I only do about 600 miles a year on the SP so the chain will be good for 20 years whatever I get.

Off to Thorpe Park today. Going to be a nice day for it and haven't been there for a year or 2 now (can't quite remember!) so think it's about time we go there again!

Must be the money he brings to the team because it's certainly not his race results that have got him another year.

That run off is brand new as you can see where the dig has moved the hedging.

It's the same spot Dean Harrison came off last year which was probably the driver for creating the new run off.

Re: The new improved fitness thread

I'm back onto my cycling in the morning after a few weeks holibobs and injury. I can happily do 30kms in 1hr 10ish three times a week now so it's time to step up the mileage.

I'm thinking to entering the ride London Prudential 100 next year just so I have a target :)
