Re: Heated waterproof gloves

Rossgo's Test Day
... a year and a bit of training I had it. I arranged it a few weeks back about a week after my cross check and when I applied it took all of 2 days before an examiner got in touch to arrange the test! I was gobsmacked how quickly it took off! He had a free slot about a week after on a Friday however ...

Re: Feeling very proud
Good solid degrees that benefit society should be free for all with a grant, 30k of dept before you even start work is just fecking ridiculous. It just handicaps the poor and those very important degrees like teaching and nursing that don't lead to high paying jobs. ...

Re: Chain mileage
My ER6 did 16k before I changed them. The R1 was done at 9,500 (but it was 5.5 years old at the time). I think the VFR800 was at about 13.5 when it was done. And the Varadero had one last year at 17.5. I wasn't aware that there was ...

Chain mileage
... on the SX forum that getting 15,000 from a chain on a 1 liter bike I ride in winter is evidence I don't ride my bike correctly. I give it 3 days before I'm banned. no mechanical sympathy for your ride eh I'm surprised (NOT! :008:) as that explains why you don't get many miles out of your chain ...

Re: Car Salesman
I find some bike dealers have a similar disinterested attitude. You get a lot of "oh it's fine, it'll be fixed before or goes out." FFS the bikes fork seals are chewed to bits and it's pissing oil down the legs. Do you really not understand how that might put me off?
