Re: Insurance renewal

Yes. If the whole thing was £73 I would have paid in full by now.

The two bikes insurance comes in at £290.

Interestingly they now mention foreign cover rather than European cover.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

... a couple more, and even more at Devil's Bridge. After a brew and a chat there we headed down to the Pitt Stop cafe at Lancaster, nice selection of bikes to have a look around, good food at decent prices and friendly staff. I also found the limit of grip on the RA3's rear tyre, and all I knew about ...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

... Then down mostly back roads again to the edge of Matlock and on to CMC at Clay Cross for a Burger and a brew while looking at all the bikes, nothing peaked my interest. The Continental tyres are great, my confidence in them is growing already and thats on dusty slippery tarmac.

Re: Rossgo's Trip Away!

I've never bothered. Bikes can get wet in the day so there's no issue if they get wet at night.

If there's a group of you the bikes will attract attention anyway so a cover won't make any difference.

It's extra luggage you can do without.

Caffeine and machine - Meet place?

I appreciate these places can be a bit 'hipsterish' but anywhere where bikes are welcome and you can meet, chat and have a drink and some decent food has to be worth a try.

http://caffeineandmachine.com/roadhouse/

Its near Stratford upon Avon.

Re: Mr Postman

I was first. :P Fast Bikes is way past its best anyway. Not much to read in their anymore anyway IMHO. I think I posted it on the 765 thread but only 37,000 sportsbikes were sold in the world last year. It’s not a big market anymore ...

Have you seen their bikes? They look like a big gimmicky bottle of aftershave.

Re: Daytona 765

You want them to open a whole tuning division?? For a few hundred bikes...maybe a thousand?? Do you have any examples of bikes, rather than cars?? Ducati, maybe? You mean like the Triumph Factory Custom division? Yeah they’d never do something like that ...
