So a list of bikes I would like to try is forming.

I want to keep my Multi but add something that is very different - light, agile, pokey engine, not expensive

Yamaha MT07
KTM 790 Superduke
Monster 797 and 821
Street Triple.

Re: What do you want to vent about today?

Rocket, sounds like you need to do some tuning on one of the bikes very early in the morning post one of their late night escapades. Obviously after your wee one is up of course. Or hang over the back fence and just stare at them. When they complain that ...

Panigale V4S test ride

... have to use your knees to grip the tank or the bike will disappear without you. And then there is the brakes. You know how when you brake hard on bikes and it feels like it will stand the bike on its front wheel? Not this one. You can feel the front dig in but the bike doesn't start to tip right ...

Re: Journey to Biking

Switching between bikes takes some practice and much depends on what sort of a person you are. Some riders will throw their leg over anything and ride it, others like everything to be just right for them and can be distracted. As always ...

My military parachute training taught me that and I’ve put it into good practice on the mountain bikes, trail bikes and track bikes ever since (rolf)

Re: Journey to Biking

Never boring to hear from fellow bikers. We all start at the beginning when riding bikes. Its a learning curve but the more you ride, the more you talk to other bikers, the more you learn. No one ever stops learning about how to ride a bike better. Even Rossi has ...

Re: Speeding charges dropped against 4 bikers

If bikes were safe, I don't think I'd want to ride...it's the risk that makes it worthwhile.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

... on a bike. We got away late so did it in 2 stints of about 3 hrs each. Only stopping for a 1/2 hr lunch when the tank ran dry. There were heaps of bikes out and I saw some very stupid moves and shook my head in wonder how some of these guys survive. As we heading off after lunch we soon caught ...

Re: KTM 1090 Adventure - a brief review

I think is the best looking of the KTM Adventure Bikes. Obviously not quite the sum of its parts though. Best wait for the 790 Adventure ;) If you do end up with two bikes though I think I would think the same way. Keep the Versys as it’s ideal for ...

KTM 1090 Adventure - a brief review

... rider and can got to the limits of either bike. I'm reasonably quick but I'll never be fast. Or maybe because I've owned quicker and more powerful bikes than the 1090 it didn't feel almost twice as powerful as the V. Maybe that's why the Versys suits me, I can chuck it about and kick through the ...

I read that overall crime was down at this year's TT. I know that Merseyside police worked with the Isle of Man police to make sure that bikes weren't targeted in Liverpool as they headed to the Island.
