Re: Nutz's VFR 800

Re: Cookie's Street Triple 765 R

... company. The Street Triple R is difficult to shop for on occasion as most vendors assume it's an S or an RS. The brake MC's and calipers on all 3 bikes are different for example. The only levers i've seen that have a definitive fit (only through the forums mind) on the R are ASV, so i'll think ...

Re: Cookie's Street Triple 765 R

Did you fit a screen to yours, Cookie? I as looking at the 765RS yesterday and the s/h bikes they had in (there were two) both had the Triump screen fitted to the back of the fly screen. Just wondered what difference it makes. I'm going to book a test ride at some ...

I'm going to book a test ride at some point over the next few weeks.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Took the KTM back in to get it's new rear tyre. It's really odd switching bikes, and they are like chalk and cheese....

MOT time for the KTM tomorrow, fingers crossed. The only thing I can find that isn't working is the headlight flasher.

Re: How do you clean your vehicles?

... your car and other vehicles. Once teh roads are wet or damp the traffic creates a thin mist a few feet over the tarmac. It's a big issue with the bikes. You get dirt and road salt in places you really shouldn't. Riding in winter is a real pain because your visor gets dirty very very quickly.

Re: How do you clean your vehicles?

... give it a rinse but a proper wash? Probably every 6 months at best. It’s a tool and other than mechanically, I don’t really care about it. The bikes get limited use. Most rides I’ll wipe the bugs and dust off, but because the conditions here aren’t like what you guys have to deal with the Ducati ...

Re: Cookie's Street Triple 765 R

Blip box is the only aftermarket blipper system I am aware of and they only make them for about 6 bikes.

Re: Cookie's Street Triple 765 R

I think only a few bikes have the option of an aftermarket blipper and they are expensive.

I know the R1 and R6 can have them retro fitted but not sure of other bikes, but saying that I'm probably not up to date with the latest info.
