... weight and with the bore they now have I seriously doubt it will be less than 155bhp at the wheel. I'd still love to own one of the Honda Moto2 bikes !! haha

Re: Triumph official moto2 engine supplier from 2019

The current crop of Moto2 bikes are at least 140bhp at the wheel (165.2bhp at the crank) The triumph will be easily north of 150bhp, probably more like 155-160bhp (182.9-188.8bhp at the crank). It isn't uncommon for a 675 to make 135bhp ...

Re: Triumph official moto2 engine supplier from 2019

They're struggling to start the engines on the Moto2 bikes. The old rollers aren't strong enough so they've having to bump them, which is difficult due to the longer stroke of the triple

Re: Performance Bikes Magazine

Yes, they still exist. I "might" have one in one of the bedroom drawers.

Probably.

Re: Performance Bikes Magazine

Yes, they do. My local newsagent is a traditional corner shop that sells tins of beans, shoe polish, stationary, fags, greeting cards and top shelf mags. I noticed Club was still going. I might get one for old times sake :D

Re: Performance Bikes Magazine

On a (ever so slightly) related subject. Do porn mag's exist still.?
Back in the 70's I remember them being popular, but I'm guessing that the internet will have eliminated their market.

Re: Performance Bikes Magazine

When was the last time anyone on here bought a magazine?? The internet has made that whole aspect of the media more bother than it is worth.

Camping magazine that had a review of my new camper in it about a week ago

Re: Performance Bikes Magazine

Always enjoyed PB mag from day one.

It’s a take on bikes as you and I would see them rather than a person in the pocket of the manufacturers might see it. But sports Bikes are no longer the core market of motorcycling and things change. hopefully nothing will be lost in the transition.

Performance Bikes Magazine

... is leaking out through the trade now, it's time to tell you what we're up to with PB. The short version : it's being merged in to Practical Sportsbikes, as a PB-headed dedicated section covering pretty much the same feature material we do now (tests, launches, interviews, trips, specials, race ...

Been to the NEC today. Saved £80 on the Skylift and saw these Nortons.

Have to say they are lovely bikes. Hope they go as well as they look.

Re: What do you call a pack of pushbikes!

... like the club-type thing. I did a season racing for Specialized and one for Supergo....'97-'98, I think .....it's fun getting free gear & bikes but the commitment took the fun out of it. And it was only a half-dozen races. I'm glad I did it, but I was also glad when it was over......it's ...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Not my bike but I saw loads heading towards the NEC today. There were shedoads of Adventure bikes. Common as muck now. I had to chuckle at a new Tuono with rider and pillion. Those bikes don't look big enough for the rider, let alone a passenger. Fair play to them for ...

Totally appreciate that situation. Byron was up and down with bikes. Loved his balance bike when he was young but flipped at a big bike and had to go onto training wheels even though he had the balance skills already. Brided him with a video game at about ...

Weekend plans

... So it's dad jobs over the weekend. I need some more shelving for the spider room. I've got to get some hose and hose parts for washing the bikes. I need to do a bit of bulb planting before the frosts come. Both bikes need a wash and a scrub. I might get out on the AT on Sunday afternoon ...
