Re: Graduated Driving Licences

... complicated for newcomers is not going to makung driving easier or better, and may well have the opposite effect. And I don't think comparisons to bikes have much relevance, TBH ....they are poles apart in just about every conceivable way.

Re: Graduated Driving Licences

Yup I’m all for this, a staged and graduated progression through various levels of cars is a good idea, it’s just bringing it into line with bikes. I can’t imagine anyone bar the rich kids complaining about this.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

... in the park. Fuelling is a little jerky low down and it wasn't the easiest to ride in very heavy traffic on the M6. It's a tall bike, as Adventure bikes tend to be. The seat is firm, perhaps too firm. Great large display screen which is easy to read and use. The suspension is very plush, it's semi ...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

My kit is with the bikes. If someone is intent on stealing bikes I don’t think gear being there or not will make any difference.

Just ensure your garage is fully secure.

If it has up and over door and you have other access then bolt it from the inside.

Re: Kwacky's ongoing Africa Twin Adventure Sport review

Adventure bikes can embarrass sportsbikes on the road.

I test rode a GS and a Multistrada and unless you ride like a dick it would be hard to go any quicker on any motorcycle tbh.

Re: Kwacky's ongoing Africa Twin Adventure Sport review

Thing is these sort of bikes have suspension better suited to road use, even fast road use. They handle so much better than they ever used to.

Re: First off road lesson

... head bearings had gone and you could feel the steering drop. The cost was 225.00 for the day with maximum of I think 10 people. There were 6 new bikes but it was the 2 smaller ones which were old and not maintained which was disappointing. I was offered to dump the bike by the hedge and hitch ...

Or wait and buy one of these bikes in the Spring - sounds like they cant shift them if thats the discount? Depends how sensible your feeling! Ultimately it depends if the space ...
