Re: Weekend plans

As per the bike thread, Jess and rode 2.5 hr up the coast to Bateau Bay for the night staying in s cute little Air BnB cottage. Back home tomorrow and get all the kids back and out for dinner on Saturday with them all and Jen (Jess' hot friend :P ). Sunday will probably be hangovers and a pool day.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Well made it up the coast. My god, that is the hottest conditions I have ever ridden in. Local temp was 42 deg C when we set off but the air temp on the bike was registering mid 40's and at one intersection with the radiant heat from the road we saw it hit 50 deg C. An hour in we had to stop at a se...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

An unexpected oil change. Jess and I are going for a 2.5 hr trip up the coast for a kid free overnighter, so I gave the bike a check over as since I bought it I've just been doing tyre pressures and jumping on. It was fully serviced included belts when I bought it and I don't think I even looked at ...

Re: Insurance Scammers

A few were committed but like Monty says most were pathetic. Dash cams seem to be almost a necessity these days. I'm just worried about the footage being used against me as I treat speed limits as a guide outside of residential areas.

Tonight was a half pissed half sunstroked Dad dinner.

Mash, peas & corn, fish fingers with lashings of tom sauce.

As least there was no complaints from the minions.

(f1) I'm loving the V twin compared to the 4 inline. That said it has power and torque over the D6 as you would expect being twice the size!

Re: Pokemon Go

Nice! Driving works so long as you stay below 20mph.. There are a few places near me where I can just chill at 20 down a street and pick up 0.5km and a pokestop I found a Scyther at my local park this morning It's 25 km here, and I live outside the metro area so very nearly never travel below that ...

Re: Pokemon Go

I finally set the kids up with their own accounts to run on the iPod Touches they got for Christmas. Didn't realise the iPods don't have GPS. But when tethered to my iPhone for data it seems to give them a reasonable location, they get the occasional 'No GPS' warning, but a quick refresh and it goes...
