Look at some photos of other standard bikes I m confident it will only be 2 or 5 mm and certainly no where near 25mm.

It's normally a couple of mm on most bikes I have owned. Some actually have a little retaining ring stopping you lowering more than a few mm.
If you can't get a manual I would have them set protruding by 2 to 5 mm.

Will be next year now as just thrown a new set of Rosso Corsa on the bike but I do fancy trying the Bridgestone RS10 they are using as oem tyre on the 2016 bikes.

I hope so but exotic materials are already heavily used on top end sports bikes. The R1M has magnesium wheels and engine cases, alloy fuel tank, carbon body work, titanium valves and crank, titanium exhaust headers and is extremely small and compact in design ...

I'll be surprised if I get out at all much now until next spring when we get some warm weather. Maybe a couple of Short blasts will end the season for me and the bikes will be getting tucked up for winter.
