Re: The Fitness Thread 2.0

Additionally, I'm doing this next weekend... http://www.airfieldanarchy.com/ Ugh. I am pooped. Absolutely pooped. I got cold, muddy, wet, scraped, bashed, splintered, bruised and battered. And I had a bloody great time. On a regular 10k ...

Re: The Budget

First £10k is tax free. Next £32k is at 20% ( 2 years ago this was £35k) plus 12% NI and then above that its 40% tax (plus 2% NI).

So even at basic rates of tax the government is taking a third of your income before you even see it.

Garage Security

Move into our first home over the next couple of weeks. The excitement of finally having a garage you wouldn't believe. However, the fear of being broken into isn't! The garage currently has a centre lock and 2 padlocks each side. Looking ...

Re: MotoGP on BT Sport...I'll start the debate then

... in Gigi Dall'Igna from Aprilia, a very smart move i reckon as they were never going to be able to compete with the full factory bikes this or next year otherwise. It's interesting that Gigi wants a new bike for the 16' season, that will be something to watch out for!

Re: What bike should i get then....?

If those two bikes are your faves, I'd buy the duke 690. I test rode one last year. I've never giggled so much on a bike or been unafraid of any corners. It's so light and clickable.

I'll post my test ride in the next reply.

Re: Slappapalooza

Believe it or not but looking at my dairy only weekend available all year would be 27/28/29 June so not possible for me but good idea and would be interested next year.

Up for plenty of ride outs though.

Re: Slappapalooza

It sounds a great idea. I would be in like a shot if I weren't off to Qatar for 4 months at the end of August. Maybe next year.

Slappapalooza

... like a top idea to me. I realise that where ever we go it'll be too far for some people. I can only apologise about that and suggest that the next event be at the other end of the country. So how about we think of somewhere and a date? My suggestion is Cumbria way 5/6/7th Sept. There's no ...
