Kawasaki and lubrication, or lack of it!
Finally got the the calliper bolts off, well the local garage did after several failed attempts and hours of swearing. Fairly sure this front tyre and the brake pads are the originals from 6 years ago, so probably the first time they've been taken off and the treads were bone dry. As was the front w...

Re: Two wheels good....
What p!sses me of the most is riders or drivers that don't slow down to the bike's (or horse's) speed and then either pull out into oncoming traffic or cut them up Doesn't take much effort to sit behind a bike for 30 seconds, 90 if it's a woman in that cheap lycra that goes see-through when they ped...

Cyclists, Bikers and Quarry Lorry Drivers, are a recipe for disaster in the Peaks. All at fault for different reasons, and the reason I try and stay off the main drag.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
I get what your saying Blade, and don't disagree just think that the Peak District roads don't really give that much advantage to power. I would without doubt be quicker on a Supermoto with half the power. I followed my boss around on his Panigale for a few miles last weekend and I could tell he was...

Sadly it was very long. The reason for the heavy traffic became apparent when I saw the smashed bike on one side of the road, a car on the other and some tarpaulin in the middle of the road, covering what I presume was the rider.

LOL all said in tongue and cheek, but I disagree with you on the the power deficit riding in the Peaks. I'd say a decent rider on a 450 single would leave you both for dust.

I've taken mine to two garages Macclesfield Motorbikes and DK in Stoke and neither can find anything wrong with it. DK had it up on a stand checked the head stock bearings and then took it out for a spin. All fine, the only thing he said was "Those tyres are sh@gged, not sure how you're riding ...

Houses are not being built for the homeless or the working poor, I know because I work in the housing business. We've not built any where near the amount of social housing we need since Thatcher sold off the ones we had to private landlords that now rent them out at rates that the vast majority can'...
