Re: So here's my plan...

... at least £1,500 to cover purchase and sorting plus maybe go for something bigger, at least 500cc but of course that's just my view. i hate to say it but given the market you might actually be better off buying a small car circa 2000 or so like an early micra. no, the challenge is a 50cc moped ...

Re: Possible house move

I wouldn't say mine is the worst tbh as I know of many others on our development worse than me. I don't think it's a cost issue as the materials are high spec and the rework gets done it's a problem in quality control and 3rd party ...

Re: going electric

The two things putting me off at present are range and noise. Like you say, the range will improve. Having an electric bike for commuting makes perfect sense. They're much easier to look after and cheaper to maintain.

Re: What do you want to vent about today?

Ebay Again I sent an item back. I had until 5th March. It was posted and signed for by 26th Feb. Ebay closed the return and now the seller is saying he won't give me my money back because Ebay closed the return. I've told him what my paypal address is but he's refusing. http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Helmet-Shop ...

If the incident hasn't been settled yet, I'm going to say £980. I think I read somewhere that until it's settled they assume it's your fault.

Re: Arc-on Gloves

I got some of those too. They break in very quickly compared to most other gloves I have bought.

As you say, loads of feel on the palm but extremely well armoured on the other side.
