5 mile tempo run last night, felt really good.
Got to cycle into work today as the cage failed it's mot and it's a bit icy so don't fancy ask the hassle of getting the bike out for a 7 mile journey.

Fitted my quick action throttle on to the zx10 was lucky the cables matched up perfectly. But bloody hell it took some getting on i can tell the engine is low in the frame as the throttle bodies are just a pain in the bum to get to. Just about got the air-box on before my hands started ...

I've replaced the damaged hardware so just have to patch the fairing up. Be a couple of days work if I could get to it. Seems like I may be back in the house with in the next month so it'll be easier to get work done on the bikes.Perkles wrote:When you getting the green beast back on track ?

... rusty when I get back on it, but last week's bimble from the mother in law's showed me that I wasn't too wobbly. It's just going to be a matter of getting back into it gradually, and not just jumping into a Peak District ride with Monty or a filtering session with Kwacky!

... in hospital for a few days with head injuries and has since fainted multiple times from little things like knocking his head on a door fame when getting out of the car. He hasn't ridden a bike since then. Me and Perkles know a lad who did exactly the same thing, same track, same place, same injuries ...
