Neighbours
I thought I would start a new thread. For those who don't know, Perkles and I used to live next door to each other. I always wanted to get a bike but never got round to it. One drunken night we decided it was time for me to pass my test. Whilst doing my CBT I highsided and broke ...

... I haven't experienced the same situation as yourself Kiwi... I'm such a family-orientated person that I was spending all my time doing things for other people to the point they expected it and I resented them (although they had done nothing wrong). Family relations started to get a little stressed ...

I slowly tried to claw some back over the last 4-5 yrs, but it has been met with such ignorance and self absorbed attitudes (not just with biking) ...

Everyone borrows from somewhere and turns it into their own style but without any doubt he influenced more musicians that made a career from music than any other of that era.
He's been name checked by artists as varied as Roxy Music, Sex Pistols, Boy George, Spandau Ballet, Iggy Pop, Kanye West...

The gym is a waste of time this month. I've no problem with people getting fit as a new year resolution, but don't stand with your other half for 35 minutes using the lat pull down, spending more time talking and drinking water. The Smith was being used for squats, the squat racks for chest ...

All being well it should be done March or April.

Suspension - reading between the bu!!sh!t
... I decided my suspension would get looked at over winter. A race shock was on the list but sadly Santa never delivered, because of this I looked at other options - suspension service and re-valve seemed like a good deal. I researched countless websites, some genuine gurus were found but they were ...

The other thing that stands out to me is his riding position, looks like he's well back on the seat, straight stiff arms, never going to have good control of a bike like that.
But way to fast for his ability and the situation.

Does the bend really tighten up I can't see on my tiny phone screen if it is tight or not and didn't notice any chevrons or other warning signs or road markings. Clearly he was going to fast and not reading the road or riding to the conditions but maybe he just bottled it as he was taken by surprise.

I've been on that ferry when it's been like that. Utter puke fest
Bikes fared well tbh. Apparently they didn't do so other earlier years and scrapped a lot of fairings....
