First day back, man it went too quickly, so much to do... every email started Happy New Year, so how long till I stop saying and writing it?

Apparently Yamaha management weren't happy he was (in their words) not using a premium brand of helmet so perhaps after the 2 high profile incidents last season they have given the decision a helping hand.

He wasn't happy with HJC and I guess AGV weren't going to have him and I don't ever remember him being a shoei or arai rider.

Probably as simple as Shark were throwing buckets of cash at the deal and wanted a top rider in their brand of helmet.
