Re: The new improved fitness thread
5.5 mile fartlek session tonight. Silly name, fooking hard training. Might have to rethink my 50 min goal for the 10k as I miscalculated somewhere and it's actually 8 min miles for 6 miles, that's an increase in pace of 1 min per mile in 2 months. It's possible, but unlikely. If anything will help ...

Cycled to New Street, train to east Brum, cycled to work. Same in reverse this evening for a total of 12 miles. I'm done in now!

Re: The new improved fitness thread
Got back on the bike for the first time since being knocked off and knocked out a few weeks ago. It went OK, though I was pretty nervous with the amount of braindead mongs with their uncontrolled kids and dogs in Cannon Hill Park. I decided that the roads should be pretty quiet on a Bank Holiday Sun...

Yeah, hope "The West Island" do India....and that you then destroy them in the final - would love to see NZ win, cos it's an ace country, the brand of cricket they're playing at the moment is brilliant....and they're not A*******a!

Re: Plane crash in the Alps
Sounds awful, but one of the first thing I did is check the engine types....and saw that as they're CFM56s it's not down to my business. In reality the amount of air travel has increased massively and the number of accidents is lower, though any is tragic. Looking at the fact the aircraft didn't cha...

Awful news Rich. If there's anything I can do just holler (and at the very least if you fancy a pint then let me know). Give Sam my love too - it must be tough for her, but if it's any consolation at least she'll get the chance to say goodbye. Treasure the good times.

Also if you're on Faceache and you have pics of the bikes try spreading the word - it might well make the bikes too hot to handle.

I would report it mate - there may be a pattern, it may help the police. Why wouldn't you? I know a little of how you feel - when my garage got done a few years ago they knicked about £3k of stuff - all my tools, mountain bike, mower, armour, swords, Marshall speaker cab and the one thing that was c...

Nice one. I had a bit of a wobble last year when I realised that I would probably never be able to ride a motorbike again cos of my eyes, but the friendship, community spirit and sheer sense of (inclusive) fun has kept me coming back so big thanks to both Kwacky and D6Nutz for making this friendly c...

And money. I wonder if the Russians will continue to help out? They've started talking about developing a national space station and pulling out of the ISS, but that won't be for a few years yet. http://www.theguardian.com/science/2015/feb/26/russia-outlines-breakaway-plans-to-build-national-space-...

I voted Atom, Ason, Ferrari, GTR and Scooby
The two no brainers were the Aston and the GTR for pretty much the same reasons as you Jon!
