Re: IAM

My theory is you indicate regardless, what’s the harm?? There maybe someone off the road in a driveway or such that you might not be aware of, so being in the habit of indicating all your movements as if there is some one to see it is a good trait not a negative IMO. But I guess you have to perform ...

Re: IAM

I’m confused at how you can indicate ‘too much’? If you are indicating your intentions how can it ever be a negative?? And using the mirrors when not needed? Surely as long as you aren’t distracting yourself from what’s in front of you regular check of mirrors are a positive? We don’t have anything ...

Re: Tyre profiles.

They make great tubeless mountain bike tyres, used to run 3 inch wide ones at about 22-24 psi on my free ride bike, amazing grip.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Well yesterday rolled it out to go into town and found fork oil all over my front tyre. Tried the film trick up under the seal to clear any debris and washed the oil off with soapy water. Got into town and the side of the tyre was coated again. Fork still leaking. So very careful trip home and going...

Cav, does it need to be a photo taken that month or can it be a photo you’ve previously taken?

Re: Warmth and sunshine

https://startsat60.com/news/australia-winter-weather-unusual-cold-forecast So looks like I may see snow at my place for the first time since I’ve lived here. Had light sleet a few times. During winter it’s not uncommon to get snow about 20 km (and 300m higher) up the mountain range from where I liv...

Photography & instagram is how I actually met Jess, but we both have let it slip in the last couple of years If you have the time, it sounds to me like you should both take it up again.. :) Cracking shots by the way! I had a go at long exposure without an ND filter but it was definitely too bri...

Re: Everything Photography

Snap! HA! I see what you did there. It's probably the best feature they've brought to a camera phone. If you look very closely though, you can see where the algorithm gets it wrong around some of the edges. Never going to be a pro feature, but great for me. As they say, the best camera is the one y...

Re: probolt sprocket nuts

In that case i would use stainless and grease the threads, stainless can cold weld and gall the threads without some lube in there. I know you are Kwacky anyways, but totally agree with the above. Especially with your weather conditions I’d be worried about galvanic corrosion using aluminium on ste...
