Snap. Even booze isn’t having an effect? It’s obviously fatal.

I know it’s bad because it’s put me off booze. I’ve sided up on flu tablets and coffee and about to attempt the lawn mowing. Nice knowing you all.

Re: 2017 Versys 650 Grand Tourer - ongoing review

I took the standard screen off my Multi and put the short carbon screen on. It looks loads better and i cannot feel any real difference in the two. If anything the shorter screen creates less buffering than the tall one. I did exactly the same. The taller screen caused my helmet to move about and I...

Re: Mr Postman

New 4 season sleeping bags. Have a quilted flannel liner for winter and are oppositely zipped so I can join the two together into a queen size. Good down to -5 deg, which might seem like an over kill in Aussie but it’s snowing 30 km up the road from me atm!! If you took that waitress along that you...

Re: Fuel prices

I'm loving high oil prices. Share price is through the Roof (y) Same, and for purely selfish reasons high oil prices are fantastic right now as the field I’m on in drying up and has 3-4 yrs of production left. The next project was uncertain due to financial viability but high prices will make it vi...

Re: Weekend plans

This weekend was supposed to be the first big camp away in the new campertrailer, but you a$$hats sent winter this way and a big front is coming through, freezing cold, high winds and lots of rain. As the trip was planned for the girls birthday (jess’ daughter and my daughters birthdays are a week a...

Re: May POTM (Photo of the Month)

@Cav - your parents I take it? It is indeed magical when you see and older couple that are obviously affectionate with each other

@Jack - Brilliant capture mate, I’ve had the odd go at panning/tracking shots and you don’t realise how hard it truely is until you try it.

Re: May POTM (Photo of the Month)

This is ‘uplifting’ for me. Looking at my daughter, knowing she is happy, healthy and well cared for, seeing that mischievous smile and knowing I’m raising a young lass with a bit of character. Makes me feel proud that I’m doing a pretty good job as a parent. iPhone X in portrait mode and edited to ...

Re: May POTM (Photo of the Month)

The limit from a phone is also 4mb. Make sure you’re not trying to upload ‘live’ photos with iOS, they are much larger in size.

I’ve screenshot photos that have been too large as a easy way to convert them to a smaller file size. Works every time.

Re: Jerez Motogp

It was worth watching just to watch MM save that moment on the gravel,I could just watch that over and over again That was a great moment but not surprised at all MM saved that.. he went up in my standings when he did the Backpack Kid dance (or ‘floss’ as my kids call it) as he crossed the finish l...

Booked it in for the fork seal replacement. Unfortunately he couldn’t fit it in before I go to work in 2 weeks so it’s going in the day after I get back. Think next breaks kid free weekend will have to be a biking weekend away, only had little local tottles lately, hankering for a decent ride.

Re: Gaming thread

Anyone playing Fortnite? My son and his school mates are mad for it on the Xbox, and just so I know what he’s on about 90% of the time I’ve been having a bit of a go with the iOS app. As someone that has never been a gamer I’m actually enjoying it when I do play it. Sucks the he’ll outta the iPhone ...
