A kick starter rubber grip for the GB400.

I actually meant to order a gear lever rubber grip (facepalm)

Re: What do you want to vent about today?

Nintendo... bloody scam artists. All the games I bought since last Christmas for the kids on the switch are now almost useless as Nintendo swapped from a free online service to a paid subscription. I don’t mind buying a game knowning it needs a subscription but changing the goal posts 6 months after...

Re: Audi e-tron - the future

Heat does have an effect on production. A negative effect. Increase heat, increase resistance, reduced output.

When the temps here get to high 30’s/40’s deg C my production on my system noticeably drops off.

Re: Audi e-tron - the future

The problem with solar Cookie, as we have found out in Aussie, is solar production is not in the peak usage times and power storage on a large scale is still in its infancy. They are researching possible hydrobattery opportunities here in Aussie atm. Excess production pumps water up to a holding dam...

Re: World Mental health Day

I’ve been pretty open on Tankslap about my own mental health issues, and I deal daily with high anxiety and depressive moods from my son Byron and his ASD. I’m glad in part I’ve had to experience it as it’s made me more aware of keeping an eye on other people. I’d rather make a pain of myself checki...

Re: Abba Sky lift

Looks like a good bit of kit.

And I’m with you on the bending over. I’m starting to regret the way I treated my body and took it for granted in my 20’s & 30’s. :(

Re: He who laughs last....

If I was the successful bidder, I’d still be buying it. I reckon that’s just increased its value. Nothing adds value to an art piece like a good story behind it.

Re: Journey to Biking

Thanks ever so much guys! The R3 is due to arrive on Monday evening, so that should be a hoot. Unfortunately, I'm teaching that evening so I might have to wait a day or so to take it out for a spin.... if I'm being sensible.... We are pretty easy going bunch but there are two rules 1. Always brake ...

Re: Journey to Biking

I saw this elsewhere but thought it was relevant to this thread... "Riding a motorcycle doesn't call to everyone. It carries a level of risk that is anathema to most. And it demands a level of competence, a degree of engagement, that is unusual in today's society. Like an old craft, the skills a...

Re: Joke of the day

A group of four-year-olds were trying very hard to become accustomed to school. The biggest hurdle they faced was that the teacher insisted on NO baby talk! "You need to use 'Big People' words," she was always reminding them. "John what did you do over the weekend?" "I went ...

Re: Reasons not to go to Australia, part 24753

Why, FFS?? Because as long as you let them come to you and don’t crowd them they are inquisitive and friendly creatures. They love running through your hands and between your arms. There is next to no danger from bite if you are predictable and you are protected by a layer of neoprene as well. They...

Re: I know it's wrong

The big problem highlighted in this article is the lack or training for police when dealing with people that aren’t neurotypical (have a mental disability). The ‘control and command’ style mentioned requires the subject to have cognitive function and enough reasoning to decide to comply. I’ve learnt...
