Re: Two Smoke KTM

That really doesn't sound good mate, hope you find some relief from it. Think I'd be asking for some opiates, it might help with the boredom too.

Re: UK water quality - Levels of shite!

Re: Cost of Energy Crisis

House repossessions are up 50% on last year. Every four minutes, a household becomes homeless. To highlight this outrageous statistic, we ‘made’ Big Ben ring — with a digivan playing the chime every four minutes in Westminster. We need the government to listen and take action. Add your name to our p...

Re: UK water quality - Levels of shite!

Maybe just maybe water, energy and transport should be taken back into public ownership. Literally, trillions have been taken out and offshored since 1979. Meanwhile, Norway has a $1.2 trillion sovereign wealth fund delivered mainly from public-owned energy. I imagine that would be pretty useful whe...

Boris Johnson steps down as MP with immediate effect https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-65863267 No reason to celebrate imo..! (shake) I may consider doing so, when he's held accountable for his wrongdoings by the law of the land. He never will though. He should be made penniless & spend th...

Re: The Daily Post Election Politics Thread

I not saying we're not being screwed, we definitely are being screwed, but food production has always been subsidised. We've never really paid for its full cost of production.

Re: What ails you today?

Many of you know that my daughter has had a long battle with her mental health. She's had various issues, especially during her teens. When she has opened up to me I've been able to get some decent insight in how her mind works, what she reacts to and how she reacts and the various ways she can thi...

No, not just BREXIT, we've had an ageing population and a skills shortage for many years. Sadly the government (including the previous Labour government to some degree) has managed to convince a majority of voters that Mohamed the brain surgeon is after their job!

There's nothing worth going for on fixed rates so I'm having to bite the bullet and go on a standard tracker. I'm hoping rates will eventually drop but in the short term I'm going to be absolutely skint.
