... chain and 2 years later it's still like new, I don't think there's a single seized link I'll stick with a steel front sprocket though, that must take more abuse that the rear sprocket and it's smaller and sprung mass as opposed to the rear which is unsprung therefore the mass has a bigger effect

Cookie I will either do it myself as you suggest or take to the local indy who has a great reputation and only charges £35 for a brake fluid change, which is only £22 more than BMW would charge me for the brake fluid to do it myself so not sure it's ...
