Re: Reasons not to go to Australia, part 24753
I’m in NSW, in the hills behind Sydney on th northern edge of the Blue Mountains National Park. Google “Kurrajong Heights” Yes checking shoes and boots is an Australian standard practice. Red backs are pretty common too but not a big bother. It’s the brown snakes and funnel web spiders that are the ...

My house has a couple of cases of teenageritis Symptoms include inability to communicate, random deafness, irritability, being heavy footed, sudden bouts of strength, especially when closing doors and a strong sense of persecution. I’m dealing with the precursor of tweenageritis. Very similar sympt...

Re: Reasons not to go to Australia, part 24753
I'd have burned the house just to make sure ..... Nah mate, these guys are relatively harmless, and an important part of the native ecosystem. The buggers can be hard to catch as they can jump over a metre in a go. Just put a bowl over him and walk him onto a piece of paper, then released him in th...

So referring to the chart above, I woke to a visit from a big ‘big barstard’ on my bedroom wall.
A good palm sized Huntsman, recovered him to outside to fight another day.

Just bought the Five’s I first posted
Looked into all the recommendations but only the Knox and Fives were available in Aussie, and only the Fives at store level.
Feel really good on and looking forward to trying them out on the bike.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Second day back home post night shifts, feel like a zombie but Jess has dragged me out clothes shopping, because I haven’t in over half a decade and I literally have no foot wear left other than flip flops and an old pair of runners. Started at the bike shop and bought my fives gloves though! Clothe...

I dont know why but I have an average figure of about 7K in my head? In Aussie we get taxed on buying a house, they call it Stamp Duty. The hous...
