... is very much appreciated (y) Just a couple of things to add... I helpfully didn't actually say what we needed to record and how long it might take so...the whole thing is likely to take 2-3 hours. We would like to record various power runs in different gears, some static RPMs and a bit of ...

What are you doing today ??

Hahaha. I did ask Si about the dyno tuning I wanted doing but he's too busy with WSB and TT prep so I'll take it to T3.

Oh and the the filter was from someone on 675.cc. Cleaned and oiled and ready to go!

Re: the tyre thread

I'd agree with that, even Pirelli openly state that while the SCs are street legal the carcass is not really designed for road use. I loved them on the road though, like snot on a blanket. If I did more than one or two track days a year I'd buy cheap take offs and leave them on.

I take a very similar approach: If it is dry and relatively dust-free then I will just reapply lube (when required) when I get back after a ride. The ...

The event is completely FREE and open to all two-wheeled fans, Kawasaki owners or otherwise

Re: Suzuki Gsxr750 test ride

When I had a little look at the 750 last year there were some stupidly good deals if you'd take a less popular colour, there were loads available. It always reviews well too. If they are saying there are none left is there a new one on the way?

Always wanted to take the 748 on track. Maybe they say its too noisy but £20 lost at worst. Booked the 12.30 slot.

In the right gear and in the right rev range it was fantastic it felt like just the right amount if power surging forward ...
