I not saying we're not being screwed, we definitely are being screwed, but food production has always been subsidised. We've never really paid for its full cost of production.

No, not just BREXIT, we've had an ageing population and a skills shortage for many years. Sadly the government (including the previous Labour government to some degree) has managed to convince a majority of voters that Mohamed the brain surgeon is after their job!
