Re: Degreaser

I would never of thought of Paraffin as i would of thought that would of damaged the paint work. Personally i would say WD40 on a rag, that stuff cleans anything

Re: RAM Mounts + GoPro

I'll say I've had Telferizer and I still buy from Bob even now. I had the standard RAM mount but I'll be honest it just isn't the same as Bob's specifically made RAM mount. It's expensive and I'll defo say that but the quality and fit is second to none in my opinion. But jist my 2 pence Sent from my...

Re: enjoying riding?

Clearly late here but it's alright to feel lile you've lost your mojo for riding. It just means you can revitalise it at a later point. Take my dad for example. For years he didn't ride and he spent his money on cars, but instead every yesr he changed his car. However i started to ride and he then d...

Re: Fettling ruined my bike....

The vacuum kits are good for drawing new fluid through but the old fashioned method of an old jam jar, some plastic tubing, a spanner and a second pair of hands is still the best way of getting air out of the system. You could add one of those one way valves on the plastic tubing to add an extra sa...

Reviews say it works and should be here by next week if I dont get around to doing it on Friday!! I hope it works for me. @Blade you are prob right, ...

Agreed. To be honest I like to follow clear instructions, e.g. Haynes manual, very clear and rewarding like you say to do it yourself

Re: Fettling ruined my bike....

@Cav "Keep the reservoir lid on and sealed. Also, keep as large a section of the brake hose as possible below the caliper (i.e. hold the caliper up). You want to avoid losing all fluid from the lines. You can do it though, I have before now. Make sure you have something you can rest them on, to...

All I wanted to do was clean the pistons and pads up before getting to use it...was planning to use it on Friday but that's not going to happen now!! So currently my pisto...
