Re: Star Wars - Chapter IX

Darth Maul would be a good one. There's a good story with him and his sisters, plus you can deal with how he survived the fight with Obi Wan and how he ends up fighting the early rebellion. You could get Darth Vader in that film very easily as Maul and ...

Re: Rudderless

Corbyn was one of the very few MPs including Labour MPs that voted against the act that enabled this Windrush tragedy. ;)

Love him or loath him, he always pops up on the right side of history.

Re: Traffic Cops working hard..

That was a very interesting article in respect of how the investigator went about finding evidence. A lot of respect to him and to others doing such difficult jobs

... what happened then all credit to them. Shocking way to behave, but i do think the penalty was light, it comes down to intent, if he meant it bang him up for life, end of.

Re: Traffic Cops working hard..

Re: Traffic Cops working hard..

That's how I read it too, he saw the bike just fine and got himself into a rage because a bike doing 70 overtook him while he was doing less than 60. I hope that his driving ban starts on the day of his release but with his history and actions in this ...

... out on or turned into because he couldn't see them and obviously couldn't care . Whilst his poor eyesight was a valid issue, I read it as yet him almost using it as another mitigation rather than being a cause. Fwiw it seemed apparent to me that, based on the evidence retrieved, he almost ...

Re: Braked a bit too hard

Robert had a rear wheel collapse at the TT but that wasn't the accident that killed him, that was the one that should have killed him and meant he could only ever ride the smaller bikes afterwards because hes right arm was so badly damaged, and then the engine seized at the NW200 :(

Re: COTA Motogp

MM93 seems to be reverting to his earlier riding style from moto2 where at times he was downright dangerous and should have been banned back then to teach him how he should behave on track, now he seems to think he can get away with punting people off at will!

COTA Motogp

Marquez is an immense talent but they need to make him realise that other riders have to be respected.

Hopefully pushed way down the grid.

Re: Braked a bit too hard

Google tells me that R. Dunlop's engine seized at @ 160mph & he grabbed a handful of front brake instead of the clutch, throwing him over the bars, only to be hit by another rider.

Doesn't bear thinking about.

Re: Chronic Myelomonocytic Leukemia

Sorry to hear this mate.

My dad was diagnosed about 5 or so years ago with a form on leukemia. They gave him the same treatment plan, and so far it's been life as normal. Hopefully it will be the same for your mum.
