Re: Joke of the day

A man sees a sign outside a house - 'Talking Dog For Sale.' He rings the bell, the owner appears and tells him the dog can be viewed in the back garden. The man sees a very nice looking Labrador Retriever sitting there. "Do you really talk?" he asks the dog. "Yes," ...

Re: Any Queen (the band) fans here?

... band per se, and it probably does gloss over some elements of his life, but it does also show the darker element to his private life and portrays him and he comes across as being a rather sad lonely individual. The film starts and finishes with Live Aid 85 and in the 2 hours of the film, you would ...

Re: Any Queen (the band) fans here?

I think "We Will Rock You" set the bar for every hard rock band that followed. Awesome drum beat (that no-one can now ever use again!!).
And Brian May's guitar feedback puts him on an entirely different level before he's even played a note.

Re: Businessman who took out injunction

And him to now deny it all.

There are some total shits in this world who really need taking down a peg or too.

And those in charge of the Country saw fit to give him a knighthood. (facepalm)

Re: Businessman who took out injunction

Allegedly cost him £500,000 to take it out. That was money well spent.

(bandit) We were doing sets of 6, so the weight went up a bit. He tried the same weights I was using, and tore a muscle in his quad! Moving swiftly ...

Re: What are you doing today ??

... 6 months till he stopped having crippling anxiety about going into the front yard (the way out of the house). So I’m definitely not going to tell him about a snake that’s probably back in the bush somewhere. I dare say it’s not the first one that’s been in my yard, just the first one I’d seen. ...

Re: Marquez - the Messi of motorsport

... contention to the title against Marquez.. there won't be an in between. As for the bike, I can't make up my mind which way I see that going for him. Is an agile/unstable bike going to suit him and will he be able to tame it for himself? I think it suits him more than the Ducati but it's no planted ...

Re: Brexit Round 2

I saw the other day that one of the big funders of the Leave campaign has paid £950,000 to get Maltese citizenship for him and his family so they're still classed as European citizens. Also one of the bigwigs in the Remain camp, Stuart Rose, set up Business for Britain, an anti EU ...

Re: Marquez and Japan

Fair play to him, the guy is amazing, he has genuinely upped the bar on how to ride a GP bike, privilege to watch that KID race, Id put money on him having 10 titles before Rossi (IF VR does manage to achieve it which I cant see)

cant believe Redding dislocated MM shoulder celebrating with him!
