He was a nice bloke, good to meet him and he tagged along to our tea on the Saturday night spent a few hours with him! 200 miles exactly all in, 90 miles of that was in the pissing rain...We ...

Re: Bautista to WSBK

Not the youngest of riders but he does have a wealth of experience.

He's always struggled with consistency. It seems to take him a while to get used to a new bike.

Thought i was going to end up in the back of him but thank **** for ABS and electronic suspension. Stopped safely but already had my escape route planned just in case. Re: What you watching?

St Vincent. I've not seen it before. It was much better than I expected. Bill Murray played his part very well. I suspect his character is close to the real him.

Re: Honda GB400 TT

Got hold of the owner, scheduled in a chat about it tomorrow evening. If it’s as good as it looks in the advert and I can get him down to $4,500 I reckon I’ll get it. I’ve done a bit of research and the engine is based on the XL 600 engine, bottom end is pretty much identical so has potential ...

... but this time only 30 miles away from Crickhowell and we found a tunnel (small but a tunnel nevertheless). Well my soon to be BIL couldn't help himself, pulled up along side me, took a look at me, gave that cheeky nod, knowing exactly what he wanted to do (having a newish slip on fitted to the ...

Re: Mrs Trump

Has anyone been watching Ed Balls in the USA speaking with Trump supporters?

You can see why they've been won over - tax cuts and rhetoric. They're all impressed by the fact he's a businessman, not a politician.

I can see him getting in on a second term.

Re: Question for Kwacky

... that was a touch larger than ideal just to accommodate all his hair. That said, there was nothing about that wreck that was going to end well for him.....massive head, neck & chest injuries. The inertial forces of the two bikes that hit him were massive.

If a rider has an accident wearing shorts, trainers, vest and no gloves and has a serious life changing accident, much of it down to him not wearing any safety gear, would the insurance company view he has contributed to those injuries by not wearing safety gear and try to reduce the payout ...

Re: What are you doing today ??

... really nice day. I planned a couple of weeks ago to see Blues v Norwich with Duke. Turns out a mate of mine is over from Tokyo so I agreed to meet him as well. He turned up with his wife. We had a meal and a drink then headed to the football. 2-2 which was a fair result. Post match beers then home.
