thats total shite... personally I would have dug my heels in at the "here's a different frame stage". At no point should their defect have cost you money. if they couldn't provide a like for like then either a refund or upgrade at their cost. The losing your parts is beyond belief. ...

It's across the board. The insurance companies didn't make enough money last year. They need to increase their net worth to cover potential losses, so pretty much all insurance is going up. It's being pushed by the re-insurers, the companies who back the insurance companies.
