Re: What are you eating ??

When I visit workplaces I often think some people are addicted to eating. Some seem to just stuff their face all day for the sake of it.

Re: Stephen Sutton

I hope his courage and commitment is recognised by government in some way rather than just handing out honours to **** next time round.

Re: 151's - custom leathers

I often think you should have to pass an exam before running your own business. If you can't do a job on time it's much better practice to admit it before committing to the job.

Re: NW200

Yep! With all the crashes he's had, whilst its admirable the effort and pain he has gone thorugh to get back on a race bike, I kind of wish he would call it a day. Being the 1st person to win all 5 races in TT week will ensure he will be remembered, he will never achieve anything like this again. I...

Re: Elections

But you can't vote in the EU parliament to leave the EU....as far as I am aware. Surely that decision is taking within the UK and the government then negotiates with the EU to leave?

Ukip MEPs seem quite happy to take EU money to pay for their political party..

Re: Time for a new lid!

Like Godzilla, I have never found another helmet that fits me better than a Shoei and I currently own a GT Air.. Internal sun visors are so much better for road use.

Re: Elections

I shall be spoiling my ballot paper. :D

Just out of interest but why are UKIP standing when their only policy is not to have any say in the EU and leave?

Re: What are you doing today ??

Got a ticket to see Foggy and Whitham at the National Motorcycle Museum tonight.

Bit undecided as whether to go or not but not much to lose other than a gallon of diesel.

Is your wrist ok now?

It doesn't seem to give me any major issues. Its still quite scarred from the op. but other than a minor twinge now and again it all seems OK.

Isn't it 3 years since your crash?

Re: Neighbour disputes

I don't see why I should cough up another £150k to move to a house where my neighbours aren't attached to my property. Even then you have boundary disputes. A guy at work spent £75k on his dispute with his neighbour. That was our way of thinking but eventually live got to be so difficult it was the...

Re: Neighbour disputes

Ultimately the only answer to these problems is to move to a detached house. Our previous place went downhill very quickly once the house was rented out. Came to a head with a police raid on a Sunday morning at 7am where they threatened to kick the door in and when they were allowed in, found a fugi...

Re: What bike as project?

I would hate to do a load of work on something and then when its finished its still shite to ride. 80's bikes will have bouncy suspension and shonky brakes unless you update them. A good outside choice is a Honda Bros. they can be picked up pretty cheaply but the engines will go on for ever and they...
