Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Picked up the sprag clutch parts. There is a real knack to fitting it as there is a large washer fitted between the sprag gear and the crank bearings. Get it wrong and the alternator bolt loosens off and wrecks the engine. The service guy at JHP said he would tell me how to do it, which he did this ...

Re: 999 cafe racer

The original build for my 853 engine cost £4,500. I'm glad I didn't pay that.

Re: Brexit Round 2

You really couldn't make it up. Those MPs who want to leave most vote against possibly the only option that might mean the Country will leave.

We are the laughing stock of the world.

Re: The new improved fitness thread

And its free. Apart from proper running shoes that is.

I don't especially enjoy the running but id do get some satisfaction from improvements and there is a certain natural high once you have pushed yourself hard and have showered and changed.

Re: Brexit Round 2

If that's the case then surely they have to go for an extension to Article 50? The problem is getting the EU to agree to it. I'm sure it's as much in their interests as it is in ours. I really do think May needs to step down. She's getting no where. She lacks leadership. They either then have to ex...

Re: Brexit Round 2

Both the ERG and DUP have said they will not back her deal.

If Parliament then take NO Deal off the table tomorrow, then i can't in all honesty ever see Brexit happening.

Re: The new improved fitness thread

There are no short cuts for improving PBs, Cav. The only way to do it is putting the miles in as you are finding.

Re: Another insurance thread

Try Bikesure.

Also check the valuations they quote for the bikes. One trick they all seem to do is keep the bike at the original;l valuation when you first signed up without you having any chance of ever receiving that in any payout.

Re: Bratty's Birthday

Sorely missed. happy birthday, Mr B. Best memory was on my first Euro trip - me, Bratty and Blade finding a hotel in Switzerland after getting lost in the wet and dark ( the hotel was in an archetypal Swiss village) drinking plenty of quality beer, eating good food and listening to Bratty's tales of...
