Re: Road-going Honda RCV unveiled

... the impression alot of people are not impressed but you have to remember Honda are a very conservative company and never go ott on race reps in road trim. The legendary rc30 was only about 118 bhp in show room trim. Saying that I have had an email direct form Honda with a detailed spec and over ...

Re: What are you doing today ??

Bit of a lazy morning and took the kids to soft play.

Met a few of the neighbours, the house next to us introduced themselves with a bottle of wine and home made shortbread biscuits. The guys over the road said hello with a load of bread fresh from the village bakery.

I'm going to like living here.

Re: Road-going Honda RCV unveiled

Why not make a proper NSR500 - if I had the money I'd buy one of those in a heartbeat, sadly though the emissions might be a sticking point, afaik they don't give marks for the lovely perfume of said emissions when determining the figures though..... :(

Re: Road-going Honda RCV unveiled

At least you won't be ordering one from the states! For the rest of the world you can have an optional 212bhp. "an optional “sports kit” that includes a new ECU, different front ram-air ducting, a different exhaust (dumping the catalytic converters and mufflers for full race baffles), quickshif...

It is not used in winter, so kept away from road salt, and is generally not used in rain, except for the few times I’ve been caught out in it. Birmingham Kawasaki. They'll give me a loan bike for the day so it makes sense

If the zx6r was on the road then Mike could have collected the SX but I can't be without both bikes for a few days.

Re: Road-going Honda RCV unveiled

159hp? What a waste of time that project it. Muppets will buy them of course, but most people wouldn't even notice that. It's a fireblade alternative for over ten times the price!

For that money I'd want 200 plus hp and a race paint job at least.

I'm out :)

At least the H2R looks special. Kwak even went to getting special paint for it.

Honda do have a habit of taking things and making them bland.
