... is a special oil only available from HRC Japan. This was just the oil and filter. No labour. I'm not buying that (sic)....an ex-employee had the same thing on his Porsche with the oil, and the MBZ I had needed a special filter.....sourced both elsewhere for a tiny fraction of the OEM costs....pays ...

That will definitely be SBK spec to be putting that amount of power out. I m pretty sure thats the same or extremely close to what Hodgons factory 999 was putting out in his title winning season.

Strikes me that the bloke making the video knocks the BMW over. Its the same bike featured heavily in PB magazine this month.

To be fair to the RCV owner he says he bought it to use it and use it he will.

Fair play to the lad, that's very quick on a stretch of road that you can't make mistakes on, if it drifts off course just a little it'd be curtains at that speed, big balls I think. (clap)

Fwiw, I'd deffo have a go, but the same as Jack - my survival instinct may well kick in before I saw 400kph.

taxed and insured it , insurance quoted me over £300 on the phone, said no thanks and did it online (same company) got it for £112 .

... of their supercharged engines. For a commuter they're perfect because they are potentially lighter (needing a smaller capacity engine for the same output), they're better on fuel, they'll be quieter and if they decide to go down the 3 cylinder route the bike will be more nimble too thanks ...

I had to do the same.. Donegal to Dublin in one sitting. 4.5 hours of pretty manic driving. Got to Dublin and couldn't find our way to the destination so I took the bus lane!

Enjoy the drive, ROI roads are way better than NI too
