Re: Spring is on its way...
I could live with a snow day at home, *thinks log fire, soup, and the really thick duvet that's not been out this year*.... Me to, and it looks like I'm might get one. Sarah is in London, I'm at home with my Sister in-law, Brother in-law, five kids and my Brother in-law has just been picked up in a...

Re: What do you want to vent about today?
I used to use a package called ParaCAD (Parametric) until been forced over to AutoSH!TE. It was way ahead of it's time, most people just used CAD as an electronic drawing board then. This is about 20 years ago, and way before 3D. We developed a whole modular range of generators in one GA and pulled ...

CAD for those of you that don't know is an incredible piece of software that allows you to create pretty much anything you want, draft it and then get it made.. CAD for those of you that do know is a piece of software that never does what you want it to do !!!! I saved a subassembly from someone el...

Re: Crash protection
I'm just putting front wheel and swingarm bobbins on mine as replacement panels are very cheap for the ZX6. The swingarm bobbins are only really for the paddock stand, can't see them doing much in a crash. Might consider get some for the tank though at some point.

Re: Head or Heart?
Definitely the way to go, I'd never get around to swapping tyres on loose wheel, just for the odd trackday.
I did the same with the Daytona, but bought a bent one for 20 quid and then got Motoliner to straighten it. Think it cost around 50 quid with delivery.
