My step mum just bought herself an electric car. My dad has had solar panels and 6kWh batteries installed and has calculations to say they should be able to run the house purely off solar for 9 months of the year and only effective charge the car from the grid.. it doesn't actually work ...

... the battery for me recently. They're collecting it tomorrow if the driver routes are confirmed. If not they'll get it next week. They can't say if it's a warranty issue until they look at it. Worth a go..

It must have failed, mustn't it.?? -Unless you'd been riding round with your boot resting on the brake pedal, and you can't see that happening given your extensive riding experience..

I might phone MV tomorrow and just say it seized and failed. Blame them and ask about a warranty claim.
