I knew I should have joined the RAF, sounds like the perfect fathers day to me. ...being around men? LOL no not really. Said tongue in cheek obvi...

Re: Chain soft links
Not sure what you mean by a soft link and that's something I wouldn't like to answer to be honest, it's completely personal preference whether you try it or not. If not, call AR Racing and they'll likely have a link for the chain you have; I did that for my DID chain because I wanted a split link r...

Chain soft links
Does anyone know if you can use an X-ring soft link with an O'ring chain?
My chain appears to be the original OEM EK 520 MVXL, but rivet link has got a very nasty tight spot in it and needs replacing. I can only find EK 520 MVXZ links, which I think are X-Ring chains.

Simular here, it was my daughters 6th birthday. Saturday was Water World and Pizza Hut and Sunday was a big party with 30+ kids in the school hall. Just about managed to fit in pulling the last bits of the Daytona apart and fitting new brake pads, air filter, new tyres, bar ends and an iPhone charg...

Keeping the baffle for now, looks horrible (IMO) without the heat shields. Going to get one off those Pinebox things from the US, it's a straight though link pipe but with captive nuts and brackets for the heat shields.Kwacky wrote:You keeping the lower baffle or have you got a link pipe?
