Blade don't buy it. I have just tried to connect the RAM stem to the suction cup ball. The ball is too small for the RAM stem! Although the suction seems fine for the tank it wasn't budging even while I was trying to peel it off!

Update with the suction mount (picked it up from Royal Mail this afternoon it has a ball mount so I can easily use connect it to my RAM. I picked up the suction mount for £3.50 off eBay and I must admit I have no complaints whatsoever, when mounted onto a glass table it managed to pick the dam thing...

I have a RAM mount already fitted but unsure how to connect that to the Go Pro ...this would be my preferred position as well but not good for those long ride outs where I need...
