Re: Costa Del Brum

You are right, it is all relative. If you're used to 15 degrees then 25 will seem hot. 25 is cool if it's 32 outside. The problem in the UK is the high humidity we get. I can handle the heat without problem. I've spent a week ...

I find listening to cruisy music calms down my riding. Wearing headphones at a respectable volume is much better than someone with their ...

Re: Biker Down

Just an update. Been down to see Rocket in the hosptial tonight and glad to say he seems well and we had a right old natter although I do wish it had been in better circumstances. I left him set up in bed, in good spirits, laughing and the prognosis is a full recovery which is very good to here.

Re: Earplugs

I use a pair to sleep with offshore for three weeks straight, so that's 21 re-uses. If you have clean fingers and roll them right they can be used over and over. But if they get dirty at all bin them. I've had a bad ear infection from earplug use, but with work and sleep and yard work ...

Following a night of finger food at my Mothers 80th birthday bash last night we were starving today and 9 of us (all family) sat down to Roast Pork and the trimmings along with fresh fruit salad for dessert and cheese and crackers afterwards, feeling pleasantly fat right now. :D

Re: £1300 extra for a paint job and can

Sales figures are here, Kwacky and you are right in that the Z1000SX is the best selling sport/tour bike. But the best selling over 1000cc machine is still the BMW 1200GS. BMW seem to sell a huge number of these machines. The good news though ...
