Almost dropped it (sweat) Turned into my road, did a u-turn at the end of the road and started to line the bike up to drive across the pavement on to the drive when a parked car without warning pulled out. I was turning right, grabbed the brake ...

Oh crap not good mate. I don't understand it sometimes I would prefer someone paying attention to the road the surroundings more than someone religiously checking their speed taking their eyes away from the road

To be honest i think that road is fairly heavily policed on and off anyway. I know they are not averse to using unmarked vehicles either.

They very fact there breaking the 130 mph lap on superstock bikes which is not much different to the tackle a lot of us ride is quite simply insane ...

... too....I think most modern tyres are pretty good as lpng as you stay on top of the pressures.....factory specs are usually pretty close for the road and pretty close for the track....I expect that every track being different doesn't help.
