Re: Anyone know if...
No direct advise on R&G but got Oxford nano on mine and they are bright and rather surprisingly IMO good quality for an Oxford product. There also the smallest road legal indicator on the market if your looking to buy and that is of interest.

Re: 2015 Yamaha R1
It does sound good Duke I agree. Apparently tc level 1 on the ten allows controlled slides but I guess its just a case of having the minerals and confidence to lean on these rider aids. From years of leaning to be smooth and progressive I think it will be a quantum shift for me to be very aggressive...

Re: 2015 Yamaha R1
I agree Kwacky the design of the sponsors graphics is a little busy but it's the first shot of a race going 2015 R1 I've seen and its the bike in race trim more than the sponsors graphics that are blowing me away. I think the road bike is a little messy in parts near the rearsets with cables and cli...

Duke you need to get this bike mate, start selling spare organs now
Fast bikes have just road tested it and scored it 10 out of 10. The same magazine has the all conquering 2015 S1000rr road test in and they scored the BMW 9.9 out of 10.

Re: Tour de Kiwi
Awesome report and glad your having fun buddy. I have to say I'm surprised at the hire bike. I thought it would be a tied and battered bog standard multi but you have only gone and landed the Pikes Peaks top of the range limited edition beast. What a stroke of luck, nice one dude and ring the bloody...

Re: My new Rocket Ship
Tbh I think bhp figures are manufacturers bragging rights these days. Let's be honest 600's are bloody quick and if you look at performance times both acceleration and top speed in 1000cc group tests the differences are tiny regardless of any top end bhp advantage some of the modern bikes may have.

Re: My new Rocket Ship
Probably quicker in most situations as the gixer is well know to have a very strong mid range. The ten makes more at the very top above 10-11000 rpm but the gixer and the Blade have a good 20 bhp advantage over the ten in the midrange around 8000 rpm.
