Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

They've got 2 brutale's in at gem speed shop, a 15 800 and a 10 1090RR... Quite a good selection of bike's. Even a couple of S1000RR if you want a Germanic missile..

Re: Africa Twin DCT

... engine for long duration. Its not that type of bike. but 90mph is ample. And it sits at it well. Being 1000cc twin it had a lovely thumping sound even on its standard can.. Would so want an Akro on this.. However compared to butter smooth scream of the triple. The tiger indeed pulled and sounds ...

Re: Journey to Biking

... a time, and somehow the clouds parted, there was angelic music and it all came together like in a movie. It was the smoothest I've ever done it, even though I went in a bit hot - recorded speed of 60kph. Not sure if I could repeat it that well! Had a bit of a wobble when I stopped back in the ...

Re: What ails you today?

... a tumour? Tumour is still up in the air. I have a bunch of canal stenosis but disproportionate amount of spinal cord swelling for what’s there. So even though the new imagery looks less like a tumour it’s still a possibility. Also investigating demyelination, which is a break down of the insulation ...

... helpful and thereore must be professional, but if you never check how would you ever know, what has and what hasn't been done. Sadly you can't even go on reviews as many of them just quote the dealer was helpful, friendly, squeezed me in etc.....not reviewing the actual work technically.

Re: Main Dealer Servicing

... I have spoken to who has used them for servicing has a horror story. It went to a local independent after that who did top work for less money, even when I added the £20 oil upgrade (Motul 300V). I might try the local-ish KTM dealer for the SDGT, they seem reasonable on price and very passionate ...

Re: Main Dealer Servicing

So much depends on the dealer and the expectations of the staff. I try and find one I can trust now before I even consider if it’s a bike I want. Staffs Triumph were brilliant, as have been JHP and Cornerspeed for Ducati. I think the Ducati expectations relate back to the older ...
