Re: What you watching?

They flew over the office the other day. Even their point to point formation flying looks good.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

... 2 lane dual carriage ways) I don't think it would work. 30 and 40 speed limit on my commute and some days with heavy traffic into town you won't even do that, I was constantly going through the gears on the CB1R so the ride on the scooter is a bit smoother and didn't add any extra time on my ...

Re: Automated Answering Machines

... tps but started getting cold calls to my mobile quite a lot recently. When you answer nobody speaks and they hang up, what's that all about ? I even rang them back and asked them why they hang up and guess what they hung up again, to$$ers (gah) I'm genuinely getting to the state that I just ...

Re: Paint Chip / Triumph Colour Codes

I've been told by a guy in the paint game that when Dream Machine do a custom paint job they mix their paints and dot keep a record of what the mix is. SO they cant even patch up their own jobs properly.

Re: D6Nutz wobbling round Donninton

Glad you are ok. Thats the main thing. And bonus s the bike isn't too bad. For the off on that corner had you not picked a braking marker? Its even more important when the corner is blind. As for int the first lap, I don't think that other guy did anything wrong at all. He was in front and had ...

Re: Routes and cake section

Use H's to meet sometimes, never eat there, the waterfront cafe is class, good food and a nice place to chill. I even stopped there after doing some work at RAF Benson for lunch :)

Re: Routes and cake section

The H cafe is rank, I don't even call in for tea now as even that's dreadful. The waterfront is a lovely place right on the rivers edge , bikes more than welcome and food is good although obviously a bit pricier than the H, but then it ...

Re: Tank Bags.

... of the tank and hinge it up while I fill up. Handy piece of kit. The bag has a clear section on the top so you can pop in directions, maps, or even have you phone in there if you want. The bag is the one I have, obviously not my bike, so slightly different cover, but you get the idea. http://www.triumphrat.net/memberalbums/data/500/medium/xCIMG0727_Large_.JPG.pagespeed.ic.mT-WeK7lC3.jpg ...

Re: Home brewing kits (beer)

I've brewed off and on for 20 yrs Mac. Pretty easy once you're all set up. Biggest points to a good beer even from a standard kit is sterilisation, a constant lower temp for fermentation and bottling at the right SG. And the biggest point, don't drink it too early! Some kits ...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

..Can't bargain with a fellow tight arse kiwi thou. Had it on the trailer, handed him $5K cash, said 'so you right with an even 5?' He looked straight at me and said, '5,2 is the price, no skin off my nose if I take it back off the trailer'. !! IMO a good deal is one that benefits both ...

Re: D6Nutz wobbling round Donninton

Yeah, on the first lap the guy was drifting in to take the line even though I was there. To be honest there was probably enough space for both of us on the track, but given it's quite a quick corner I wasn't going to argue the point. It's a bit strange blade, ...

Re: 600 v 1000

Re: Look at me: I can fly!

Glad you're ok Andy, I'd say you've gotten away with a surprisingly small amount of damage. Most of what looks like damage will probably wash off. How are you feeling today though?

Good pic, even if it was an expensive way to get it. ;)
