Re: What are you eating ??

!!!!!!?????
I've never even HEARD of a cheese & onion roll! What a peasant.

Sausages & browns, mushroom & cheese omelet, sourdough toast & butter. I sorta doubled-up on breakfast as it'll probably be the only time I eat today.

Re: What are you eating ??

... I'm up by regents park. London is one place I'd never want to live. Used to stay at the wife's when we first met, she was in greater London and even that was too noisy for me. I'm used to the peace and quiet of a village. I wouldnt want to either frankly. One of Mrs C00kiemonsters sisters lives ...

Re: Honda GB400 TT

Got hold of the owner, scheduled in a chat about it tomorrow evening. If it’s as good as it looks in the advert and I can get him down to $4,500 I reckon I’ll get it. I’ve done a bit of research and the engine is based on the XL 600 engine, bottom end ...

Re: Honda GB400 TT

Fwiw I really like the way it looks. Tidy looking job that. Don't think the idea of owning one (or even riding one much) appeals though. It’s a real nostalgia thing for me St Marks. I learnt to ride on this era of bike, old CB250 & Z440 etc. I don’t have any expectations ...

Re: Honda GB400 TT

... I’m quite keen to have something slower and more old school to just tootle on. Reading online and those that have owned one seem to love ‘em even though they concede they aren’t rocket ships at all.

Re: Journey to Biking

... are clearly thinking of the best route for you. I've heard of stories of people passing their tests buying brand spanking new bikes and crashing, even heard of one guy buying a new Fireblade with his daddies money and crashing it a week later *headbang* screws us all up when it comes to insurances! ...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

... it seemed better laid. In England we all know stones are all loose on Top of the road and stones being thrown up or making you feel uneasy even at 30mph, the Welsh just know how to make the road I guess, it seemed properly done espcially as i cant imagine this road getting much traffic, ...

Re: Journey to Biking

... Honda CB300R - I *love* the modern retro look of this. Seat is hugely uncomfortable, though. And it seems oddly high for a 780-790mm bike. And even *I* think a 300 single might get a bit boring a bit quickly.... Ninja 400 - I thought I'd love this. I love the design. Just didn't do anything ...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

... brightened up for you, enjoy the day. We used loads of roads to be fair. We rode a roads B4560, that was fanatic, it had sheep in the fields and even on the road so couldnt go too crazy but the views were amazing! By the time we got to Hereford time was ticking and we bumped into a road block ...

Re: Possible house move

The circus is still in town. Our buyer is insisting on the 31st August, even though he's not moving in to the house. We don't know if the woman we're buying from can do the 31st. She's already had to make a few re-arrangements to get the 24th in the diary. ...

Re: Just one bike

... IMO. A thing with the 1290 is the POWER!!! You have to be mindful of how much it has and that you can't just rip the throttle like an ape or even with anti-wheelie the front is up enough to loose steering... Get's the heart moving :D .

2014 skyhook multistrada

... and quick release fuel cap. In very good condition. Looking for £8995, the service just cost me £1400 with all the new bits. Rich at Louigi moto even said “ it’s too good to sell “ but I need to replace the money I spent on the tuono. If anyone knows someone that may be looking for one.

Re: Possible house move

Sam has got a local removal company round at lunchtime to give us a quote. I'm going to pay for packing as well, sod it, they know what they're doing and it makes it easier for them to move stuff out of our house and into the new one. They're even happy to deal with the spiders.

Re: What are you doing today ??

... car, a 2017 CR-V 1.6 diesel. It drives nice, better than I thought for such a big/tall thing and more grunt than I expected from a 1.6 derv, even though it is twin turbo... And in mainly urban driving with a bit of country lane action it managed 62mpg on my drive home, I'm deeply impressed ...
