Rocket - don't measure yourself or get a tailor to do it, get the guy that's going to make the suit to do the measuring, he will know where he needs to measure snug and where he can allow a bit; trying to save a few quid here can ruin the fit of the suit and make it all worthless.

I'm sure a couple of people here have had leathers made. I'm looking at all available choices in getting new leathers and would like to know people experiences with the companies, the quality of the leathers, and costs compared to an off-the-peg suit.

Wow that is very interesting.. Same here I did 3hrs solid riding in heavy rain on Sunday from Stoke to london.. And one stop for fuel.. In full Rukka goretex and goretex boots I was wet on the chest down to the crotch.. I just don't get it.. ...

Haha sorry getting way of topic here! I can't deny the mileage is exceptional and with the fact it's a mis of all different type of riding in all weather's just adds to it. Makes you think though what will be next of the evolution of tyres!
