It's appalling. They shouldn't be allowed to do it. So long as the bosses get their bonuses and the shareholders get their profits I guess nothing will change. Maybe there should simply be a law passed, that if a company's operations are causing harm to the planet ...

... either have to pass the increase in or import from elesewhere. Brexit now means the UK comes close to the back of the queue when EU farmers sell their produce and add in that Spain, where much if it comes from is experiencing serious drought.

No, not just BREXIT, we've had an ageing population and a skills shortage for many years. Sadly the government (including the previous Labour government to some degree) has managed to convince a majority of voters that Mohamed the brain surgeon is after their job!
