Re: Ducati 748 - Road to track/road

About £300 in parts (if it needs all 3 parts) and a couple of hours labour. Quite tempted to have a go myself but may let Cornerspeed do it, watch and learn how to do it next time. The compression of the engine may mean that it becomes a service part (or the bearing itself anyway). It would be an i...

Re: What are you doing today ??

Feeling reflective. Two deaths in our extended family in the last five days, my Sisters BiL and my Brothers Wife, both from cancer, so neither unexpected, but still a shitty week though. Fwiw I really hope that as a family our luck improves, as tbh I think we've had our fair share of crap for a lon...

Real men do clutchless upshifts anyway ;)

If i had one i'd want it cheap or with an autoblipper for downshifts which are not cheap..

Aha, can't help myself, Cookie!! Agree with Kwacky, there seem to be more people in the police force that want to do a proper job these days which is massively welcome

Re: On this day

I don't know how the Police do their job these days. They get pulled in every direction and are not paid enough for what they do, plus there is not enough of them now so they are stretched too.

I admire every one of them tbh.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Been out for a cheeky couple of hours over lunchtime. I haven't used it for over a week due to bad weather and life, however it's nice to get back on it after all the newness / honeymoon period has finished. I'm way quicker on this bike than the RC8 and getting quicker. It's teaching me a lot about ...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Did a mod on the Multi rear brake. The rear brake was non-existent, wouldn't even hold the bike on a hill at a stop. On first look awhile ago I could see I was in for some drama as the bleeder was on the bottom of the caliper, so at a minimum would have to remove the caliper and get it up a bit hig...
