Re: What are you doing today ??

Flew back from Melbourne today, had a great long weekend down there and can’t believe it’s taken me 18 yrs to get down (other than a quick overnighter last year) and have a good look around the place. Will definitely head down again sometime!

Re: Global warming

... 8 million species of animals that we know of, and a guesstimated 2 million more of which we're unaware of. Any number of species die out every year (pretty sure that number is in the thousands). Despite what the eco-nazis say, life on Earth is still flourishing without regard for our selfish ...

Re: Notre Dame

Over 3 million people die every year from drinking unclean water (3.4 million is closer to the mark). A billion €uros wouldn't go very far at all in helping prevent that. It's worth remembering that other monies, from a variety of sources, ...

Re: If I was going to have a third bike...

... RACE mode. I didn't like the satin black paint though, its too bland for my liking. Definitely a fantastic bike and if i am at a point late in the year (and its a big IF at the moment) i would certainly consider adding one to the garage. I was considering changing the Multi for the new one as mine ...

Re: It's time for another Cornish bike change....

... bike indeed, i'm keeping my eye out for another 1098S as i loved that analogue bike, yet having just bought a new ST-2, it may have to wait this year. Saying that the RSV4 is still on my wish list.

Re: It's time for another Cornish bike change....

Well hello chaps, its been too long! I'm still riding the R90, I know, I must love this bike as i've had it for 2.5 years now :-). Still enjoying every outing on it, even through the winter months, (although a lot less since getting a dog), and have made a few mods since being knocked ...

Re: Attenborough's warning on climate change

... financially but as a place to actually live, war to fight over it will become more prevalent. Greenland has had rain in the middle of winter this year which is unheard of. As that ice melts, more and more land will disappear under water.

Re: Musings on life

This is a very moving post to be honest. I'm 20 year aWay from 50 but I have learned lots since I was 20. I've changed my attitude but my fitness has dwindled, but I'm happy. There's a few people at work who are very caught up with pay scales. We ...
