Re: Christmas edition of SEB magazine

I did say in the article that there must be hundreds of different thoughts and ideas. They are just 5 that have worked for me over the years.

Re: Take A Guess.....

I met Buzz Aldrin years ago at the Science Museum in Santa Ana. "How did it feel to go all that way & be the SECOND person to walk in The Moon??" "Oh...it wasn't a big deal - part of the job. I knew for months ahead ...

Re: New Avengers Film

Disappointed.

Thought for a moment there we were going to get a new Steed, Gambit & Purdey show!!

But now that Joanna Lumley looks about 400 years old, maybe it's for the best that we don't.

Re: Brexit Round 2

... and anyone even the most ardent socialist believes Abbott is an asset then god help us, If the remainers in Parliament stuck to the vote result 2 years ago and got behind it instead of trying to derail it then perhaps we wouldn't be in this mess. 2nd referendum but with remain not on the ballot ...

Re: A Third bike

... 848 is gorgeous. I bet it sounds just as good as well with those Terrys on it. My problem is that I've not ridden a Ducati sportsbike for about 10 years now. I have no idea if I like them. I think a Ducati is more than the sum of it's parts. They're an "owner's bike" in a way Japanese ...

Re: Work/life balance

... about much for them. My wife already does too much and I don't want to put any more pressure on her. Looking further down the line, in a couple of years, she won't have to do so much for them (I hope) which means more time for her. I don't want her to have that time and be on her own.

Re: Scooters

I commuted around London for nearly 10 years on a super sport bike. A scooter would have been infinitely better for the purpose on just about every level, but I just couldn't do it.

Yes, I'm a scooter snob.

Re: Christmas lists

The three best things I’ve been bought in the last few years are all things to enjoy, all from Mrs Gee as well, who obviously knows my likes and dislikes. I had a coffee club membership (single plantation stuff), a cheese membership (5 great cheeses) ...

Re: What do you want to vent about today?

No-one goes to the movies anymore. I read somewhere the other day that movie attendance is the lowest in 25 years.
Too many other (& frankly better) options.

Re: What are you eating ??

Meant to have a snack from a garden centre yesterday, but their special was faggots and mushy peas.

It's been that long since I've had them I'd forgotten what they were like. Like, literally years. Maybe a decade!

They weren't bad, as it turns out.

Re: Moto GP - Testing and Off season

he is incredible, genuinely a class above everyone else at the moment, the young rookies coming up are good but the problem they have is he is years more experienced than the new batch coming up and has that edge. Type of rider we will all talk about for years and years to come when were old and grey

Re: Take A Guess.....

I'm guessing the only people in the future whom travel to the moon will be corporate people on a business adventure. They may not even be allowed to walk on the moon.

It's quite sad to think that in another 30 years there may not be anyone alive who's been to the moon

Re: Weekend Plans

I already gave up worrying about age to be honest, it just frustrates me when it comes to insurance as my insurance is still far too close to £1000 for my car (the bike hasn't been insured for a couple of years now too)
