Re: Perkle's new bike

... I had a quick go on it today. Seeing as it's Perkles new toy, he was behind me and he's got arms bigger than my legs I took it easy. It's been years since I rode a big twin so the vibes and engine braking seemed alien. Handling - 9/10 The bike does what you want. I was expecting a tall bike ...

Re: Max Clifford

It took one hell of a long time for justice to catch up with him didn't it.? As pointed out above, he's made plenty of powerful enemies over the years. I'm struggling to understand why one of them hadn't seen to it that this had all come out a long time ago. If I was one of his high profile victims ...

I would imagine the repeated dry bumming could also have a negative impact on his health.

One can hope.

Re: Biker in distress

Made the same promise many many years ago to someone who helped me ironically 1 mile from home with a puncture, how weird is that.

Anyway he helped me get home so I bought him a box of beers and have stopped to help everyone I have seen in distress every since and always pass the promise on.

Biker in distress

... be OK. I think he was just happy that someone had stopped and tried to assist but I had made a promise to the guy who helped me out about two years ago when the same thing happened to me that I would stop and help if i saw another biker in distress. So make sure you stop if you see a biker ...

A little bit of persuasion soon got it spinning again, but then forgot to clean the sticky bits off (facepalm) Did you clean the caliper pistons ...
