Re: The new improved fitness thread

... run the routes a couple of times you get to know where the livestock is. As for the intimacy, we've never yet come across and couples in nearly 3 years, which is slightly disappointing. We did come across a naked bloke sitting in the bushes all by himself on the side of one of the tracks though.

Re: Cav's Workshop

... we want, what we absolutely need and everything in between. The house has large rooms and the kitchen and bathroom were done in the last couple of years - the rest of the house was done within the last 5. We know we can add value to it and it was the right price. Another HUGE positive is that it's ...

Re: What are you doing today ??

Final push to get some plastic moulded parts finished. I started this project during my apprenticeship, left for 2 years then came back to it in the exact same state as when I left. The frustrating moment when the new parts measure better than the old parts and this causes fitment ...

Re: Brexit Round 2

I see that the latest round of Universal Credit has been postponed because it's not quite ready.

That's Universal Credit, the thing we've been planning for 8 years.

But Brexit has to go ahead, regardless.

Re: Brexit Round 2

... Over 200 MPs have signed a letter telling May they will not accept leaving with No Deal. A decent Parliament would have got all sides together two years ago and all sides would have come to some agreement on the best way forward and what was acceptable to the public, to business and to Parliament. ...

Re: The new improved fitness thread

I've never understood people who enjoy running. I was running lots a few years back Cav and I don’t know if I could ever say I enjoyed the actual running. I did enjoy the fitness benefits, the fact I wasn’t bad and got good times and placed well in the few races ...

Re: What do you want to vent about today?

I've got 2 Samsung's, the main one in the lounge is about 4 years old and has lost some colour definition on one side of the screen, but you can only notice it with dark colours. The bedroom one is 2 or 3 years old and it's fine.

Both are fairly basic telly's though...

Re: What are you doing today ??

I’ve haven’t owned an SUV either, however it may well be our next car. Mrs Gee is the primary driver, and after driving a people carrier for years, going to our Golf was a shock, initially due to the extra tech, but then the driving position. It seems she, like a lot of her friends prefers a ...

Re: Ford Europe

Unless this Government wakes up to some basic facts about the world as it is today, then there will be no **** left working here in 20 years time. More and more skilled jobs are being replaced by computers. My job will not exist in less than 20 years time. Replaced by computers. My wife heard ...

Bikers and bike security

... the bike still have been? Maybe I'm more paranoid since I had a bike nicked, but decent security costs a lot less than the policy excess and the 5 years of increased premiums.

My season ticket over the last 2 years has increased above inflation as the government have allowed it (in the name of investment apparently) I can count on one hand the number of trains ...

He's been cutting hair for......
